*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the appearance and health of our furry clients while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. *Duties* * Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. * Assess the condition of pets? coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. * Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition. * Build strong relationships with pet owners by providing excellent customer service, addressing their concerns, and offering grooming advice. * Handle pets safely and compassionately, using appropriate restraint techniques to ensure their comfort during grooming sessions. * Keep accurate records of services performed on each pet, including any special notes regarding their behavior or health. * Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that prioritizes the well-being of both pets and staff. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with grooming certificate; extra training may be provided for the right candidate. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. * Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets during grooming sessions. * Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming techniques, and products is advantageous. * Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals are essential traits for this position. * Flexibility to work varying hours Join us in creating a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners while showcasing your grooming talents!
