*Job Summary*
The Dining Room Manager will manage all restaurant and lounge operations within the Riverview, Mahogany, La Tavola de Padrone, Lobby Bar, and Grab & Go. Working in collaboration with the food and beverage/culinary management team to ensure implementation of policies and procedures in a safe environment while continually improving guest satisfaction and revenue maximization. To carry out any and all directives of duties as communicated to him/her by the owners or AGM/Food and Beverage Director.

*Required Education, Skills and Qualifications*
*Job Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Day to day running of the business, smoothly and professionally to set the utmost standards in high quality service.
* Conducts pre shift briefings & communicate the opening, closing, and cleaning duties daily for the restaurants.
* Daily communication with the Restaurant Supervisors of any guest complaints, injuries, equipment shortages, employee issues etc.
* Establish and maintain proper inventories.
* Ensure cash control and liquor control procedures are followed by all employees.
* Greet guests upon arrival; resolve guest complaints and answer questions to customer's satisfaction.
* Coach and counsel employees regarding career and personal development; conduct performance evaluation and provide feedback to employees.
* Interview, hire and train team members.
* Prepare schedules and assign duties to restaurant staff.
* Review payroll information to ensure accuracy.
* Monitor daily, weekly and monthly labor costs and make adjustments where appropriate.
* Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet projected needs; requisition additional supplies as needed; clean and store all equipment in a secure manner.
* Enhance the up-selling program and build beverage volumes.
* Available to assist your team and visible to the customers by doing regular quality checks during the shift.
* Establishes guidelines for customer service so employees understand expectations as identified in written standard procedures and up-to-date job descriptions for all job positions, including Training Guides, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), SWP (Safe Work Practices), WHIMS training, and MSDS.
* Communicate with maintenance department regarding restaurant equipment repair or safety issues.
* Role model providing leadership to the Restaurants and Bars to achieve their goals and objectives with a hands-on approach to management.
* Communicate the goals and objectives and inspire employees to achieve those goals.
* A mentor who trains, inspires and develops people for promotion through observations of service behaviors and providing feedback to individuals
* Preparing and processing all and any paper work in a timely efficient manner.
* Demonstrate team building experience; build morale and spirit.
* Demonstrate ability to lead by example.
* Instill a calm, organized approach in all situations.
* Instill a guest service attitude in all employees.
* Delegating where appropriate to encourage learning and development.
* Coach employees how to resolve and de-escalate conflicts.
* Strives to improve service performance.
* *Requirements / Specialized Skills:*
* Experience with very high volume Restaurant operations.
* Experience implementing new F&B concepts.
* Knowledge of liquor, food and health & safety regulation.
* Proven track record building outlet volume, average checks, and profitable F&B promotions.
* Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
* Proven track record promoting an atmosphere of teamwork.
* Ability to manage change effectively.
* Provide leadership to position the Restaurants and Bars to achieve our vision statement.
* Experience training and cross-training employees.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Self-starter with strong organizational, administrative and communication
