*JOB OPPORTUNITY SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST* Connect Society helps Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, adults and their families become full participants in society. Our family-focused approach supports our clients so they can fulfill their goals and achieve success. *OVERVIEW* Connect Society?s Early Childhood Services Program requires a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, consultation and intervention with preschool children aged 2½ - 6. Most of our children have speech and language delays related to hearing loss. We also accept hearing children of deaf parents. The program focuses on child development with an emphasis on language acquisition. Programming is play-based and family-focused, requiring a high level of teamwork within an interdisciplinary team. *QUALIFICATIONS* ?Master?s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; ?The successful applicant must be registered or eligible to be registered with theAlberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA); ?Current CPR and First Aid; and?Clear Criminal Record and Intervention Checks. ?American Sign Language (qualified candidates without American Sign Language will be considered with the expectation that they will gain competency); *HOURS* 32 hours per week Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30-12:30 *COMPENSATION* ?Based on education and experience ($43.38-$47.85) ?Incredible work environment ? cooperative, fun, inclusive, & inspiring; *CONTACT* Kelly Roth Email: kroth@connectsociety.org Job Type: Full-time Pay: $43.38-$47.85 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
