We are currently looking for a full/part time X-Ray Technologist at our Waterloo Nuclear And Radiography As an X-Ray Technologist, you will perform a variety of standardized and complex exams. You will be responsible for reviewing patient history, preparing the patient for the exam, explaining the procedures, and obtaining diagnostic images. You will also assist with patient management. It is necessary to ensure a high level of patient care and radiation safety. * Must have the ability to work independently. * Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and patients. * Must provide compassion and respect for the patient, family, and support persons. * Reliable and adaptable. Experience & Certifications * Registration in good standing with the CMRTO and CAMRT * Continuing education annually as required by the CMRTO * Professional Liability Insurance is a requirement * Work-based on all regulations and ALARA principles * Good problem-solving skills * Should be well versed in infection control requirements and procedures * Graduate from a recognized college/university program in Medical Radiation Technology * 0 - 5 years Experience Job Types: Full-time/Part-time, Permanent Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All patients required to wear mask, common surfaces sanitized regularly etc Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 48 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-18- LocationNorth York, ON
