*Specific Position Requirements:* * The client resides near Centre St & Dufferin St in Concord (Vaughan). * This is a live-in position requiring 4-6 days of care per week. * Each caregiver will be expected to work 8 hours throughout the day with the client but must also be present during the evenings in the event of emergencies on their working days. * While not mandatory, knowledge of the Italian language and culture is considered an asset. *About us* Opulife isn't your typical home care agency. Your voice is an essential part of shaping our future. *Why Choose Opulife:* * Purposeful Work & Community Impact * Growth opportunities * Unique Team Spirit * Regular social events * Relaxed atmosphere * Safe work environment *Responsibilities*: * Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning. * Perform delegated and assigned tasks under the supervision of a Care Manager * Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment. * Foster companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations. * Document care provided and report any changes in clients' condition to the Care Manager. * Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences at all times. *Qualifications*: * Successful completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program. * Genuine compassion and dedication to improving lives. * Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and schedules. * Strong communication skills to build meaningful relationships. * Valid driver's license and or reliable transportation. * Valid Standard First Aid and CPR * Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check * Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 6 months) At Opulife, we value our support workers and offer competitive pay rates, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement.
