*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and be able to work well under pressure. *Duties* - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Follow recipes and presentation specifications - Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met - Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen workstation - Assist with food inventory and ordering as needed *Skills* - Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or food service setting - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Understanding of food safety practices - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong communication skills - Attention to detail and organizational skills If you are passionate about cooking and thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment, we would love to have you join our team as a Line Cook. *Experience * - Line Cook 1 year (preferred) - Licence/certification Food Handler Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.55-$17.55 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends as needed Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Cooking: 2 years (required) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required) Work Location: In person- LocationLondon, ON
