Come and work within a multidisciplinary team that manages and delivers Web & Mobile products in the investment field. </p> <p>The Wealth Management Technology Partners team is responsible for providing innovative and secure solutions for Wealth Management. This includes delivering trading solutions and digital platforms for National Bank Independent Network (NBIN).</p> <p>We are focused on building great solutions using new technology. Now we need a technology platform to take our business to the next level. </p> <p>Hop on and join our amazing team and you will see how this is a dynamic environment that you want to work in, where we are building a digital platform.</p> <p><strong>Your job</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to the definition, planning, organization and execution of application monitoring and disaster recovery activities across Wealth Management IT</li> <li>Leverage a deep understanding of how the systems work to isolate source of a bug or incident to a particular system or application</li> <li>Monitor applications and their components across dimensions such as end-user experience, APIs, runtime code exceptions and performance. Recommend enhancements as needed</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring maximum service availability and stability</li> <li>Resolve escalated, complex or sensitive inquiries from both internal and external clients and ensure they are satisfied with the solutions and quality of service offered</li> <li>Act as a liaison between our delivery squads and operations teams, effectively communicating in both business and technical terms</li> <li>Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the team to enhance overall client experience</li> <li>Observe and communicate potential application risks and improvements in support of effective issue prevention and risk mitigation</li> <li>Provide after-hours and occasional weekend support for changes/releases, when required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor?s degree or University certificate/undergraduate with 3-5 years? experience in an application support role</li> <li>Deep knowledge and experience with Java, SQL, DataDog, Splunk</li> <li>Strong track record with agile and DevOps delivery resulting in high velocity, high quality delivery</li> <li>Previous experience in an application support team with a focus on monitoring and responding to application reliability, security, and performance KPIs</li> <li>Experience working and understanding of LINUX, UNIX and automation by scripting (i.e. BASH, Python)</li> <li>Experience with AWS and Kubernetes</li> <li>You are self-starter who loves innovation and improvement, collaboration and sharing ideas.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge considered an asset</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in the Banking or Wealth Management industry.</li> <li>Experience with building PowerBI and JIRA Dashboards</li> <li>Experience with IBM OSS/ISM, CRM2, AS400, Croesus.</li> </ul> <strong>Your benefits</strong><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>In addition to competitive compensation, upon hiring you?ll be eligible for a wide range of flexible benefits to help promote your wellbeing and that of your family.</div><div><ul><li>Health and wellness program, including many options</li><li>Flexible group insurance</li><- LocationToronto, ON
