Itinerant Resource Teacher - 1.0 Temp (ASAP until June 30, 2025)<p>The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team to provide direct instruction to learners with diverse needs including: <p><p> Strategies for learners to use in classroom settings. <p> Skill development or remediation including functional skills, social skills, communication, and academic skills<p><p>The role may include other responsibilities that align with the function of a resource teacher. <p>Qualifications:<p><p> Completion of a Bachelor of Education <p> Completion of a Master of Education degree in Special Education or equivalent or a Diploma in Special Education or equivalent.<p> Minimum of two years of classroom teacher experience<p> Membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch<p> Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service<p><p>Please contact Tammy Renyard, District Principal of Inclusive Learning, at trenyard@sd79.bc.ca, if you have questions regarding this position.<p>Applications are not accepted through Make a Future.
