*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant (Level II)to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others in a clinical setting. Monday to Thursday 9 AM-7 PM hour paid lunch break *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. * Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. * Take and develop dental X-rays as needed. * Maintain accurate medical records using software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. * Manage patient appointments and assist with front desk duties, including scheduling and confirming appointments. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Perform basic laboratory tasks as required, including impressions and temporary crowns. * Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist in emergency situations. * Support pediatric patients with a friendly demeanor to create a positive experience. *Skills* * Proficiency in managing medical records efficiently. * Experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred. * Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and safety protocols. * Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. * Ability to perform endodontic procedures under supervision is advantageous. * Understanding of medical coding related to dental services is beneficial. * Competence in taking vital signs accurately when required. * Strong grasp of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. * Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
