Points West Mechanical is currently looking first year to 4th year apprentices and journeymen/women to join us for work in Edmonton starting ASAP! Main focus of work is parkade/walkup condos, commercial projects and residential. Commercial/Condo work is in Edmonton and surrounding area. Competitive wages and Benefit plan (health, dental, Vision). Skills Required: Applicants should have a Valid drivers license, and hand tools. Ability to perform Physical work Ability to work as a part of a team and Independently Attention to detail, communication and Problem solving skills Ability to understand instructions from Supervisor and take direction. ```Duties:``` - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures - Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems - Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of plumbing systems - Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools and equipment - Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning - Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure efficient project completion - Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions ```Qualifications:``` - Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role - Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools effectively - Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations - Ability to read and interpret blueprints for plumbing systems - Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, etc. - Proficient in welding techniques for joining pipes (preferred) - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and customer service skills If you are a skilled plumber looking for a challenging role with opportunities for growth, we want to hear from you.
