We are searching for a detail oriented paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience of handling Provincial Offences Matters. Criminal Law experience an asset. The position will involve training for Criminal Law. Strong communication skills and ability to handle clients a must. The firm handles family law, civil litigation (including Small Claims Court), landlord tenant disputes and welcomes experience and a willingness to work in those areas as part of developing our staff members. Qualification: * 3+ years experience appearing in courts (zoom or in person) and dealing with clients * Strong drafting skills as well as writing and researching * Fluent in online filing of legal documents, and Zoom * Excellent organizational skills * Excellent attention to detail * Exceptional client focus * Strong professional acumen * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite and excel * Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with tact and diplomacy * Knowledge of various areas of law an asset, especially Criminal Law. * Clerk or Paralegal work/experience are an asset * Fluency in other languages is an asset If you are interested in this position, please respond with your cover letter and resume as well as two writing samples related to the field of law.
