Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Employer's home. Tasks: Care for pets. Administer medications. Assist clients in water (i.e. pool). Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide personal care. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Cook. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Personal Support Worker Certificate. Target audience: Adults. Females. Persons with physical disabilities. School age (6 - 12 years). Young adults. Experience with special needs children: Assistance with mobility. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Reference required.
