*Job Summary* Cornerstone Physiotherapy Calgary is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to provide acute care in clinical settings. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving their mobility and overall quality of life. *Duties* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. * Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and function. * Educate patients and their families about treatment options and home exercise programs. * Collaborate with our in clinic staff that includes 2 physiotherapists, 4 massage therapists, chiropractor, acupuncturist and front admin staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. * Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices. * Experience in rehab clinic settings * Proficient in patient care techniques, ensuring a high level of comfort and support for patients. * Familiarity with orthopaedic, sports and neuro physiotherapy practices is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $51.00-$62.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 ? 30 per week Additional pay: * Commission pay Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * Physiotherapist Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-29- LocationCalgary, AB
