We are currently looking for a qualified and dedicated *Support Worker* to join our team of professionals servicing seniors in their homes in the *Markham / Stouffville* *area.* *We are currently looking for caregivers who are able to support our clients for DAY SHIFTS (Monday - Friday).* *Must have BOTH Weekday and some weekend availability. .* We offer: * *Competitive wages, longer shifts* * *25% shift premium for shifts under 3 hours long.* * *$250 retention bonus after probation* * *Paid mileage between clients* * Ongoing training opportunities that can help you grow professionally and personally * A supportive, caring work environment * The opportunity to work one-on-one with seniors and truly make a difference in their lives. We are looking for the following qualifications: * Proper certification for the position for which you are applying * Experience working with seniors and providing them with care * Up to date CPR Training * Vulnerable Sectors police screening * Ability to speak, read and write in English * *Must drive and have own vehicle as our clients are outside of town* Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 25 per week Additional pay: * Retention bonus Benefits: * Flexible schedule Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Education: * DCS / DEC (preferred) Experience: * supportive care: 1 year (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * First Aid Certification (required) Location: * Stouffville, ON (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-27 Expected start date: 2024-11-29- LocationStouffville, ON
