Perkins Restaurant and Bakery is searching for a dedicated and friendly server to join our team of dynamic, and hardworking individuals! *NOTE: Our ideal candidate must have their Smart Serve Licensing and their Food Handlers Certification. Candidates who do not hold these licenses must be willing to obtain them before beginning work. Candidates must be proficient in the English language. * Our ideal candidate is a team-player who is ready and able to provide the best possible customer experience from the very beginning by greeting customers with a smile. They aim to make every interaction a positive one. They must be willing to collaborate with both their fellow servers, and kitchen team in order to always reach shift goals and make everyday a success. They must be willing to keep busy, multitask and complete side work in accordance with business needs. A general overview of responsibilities include: * Greeting and seating customers * Taking food and beverage orders and accurately relaying them to the kitchen staff * Serving orders promptly and efficiently * Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and workstations * Stocking necessary product * Cleaning, and resetting tables * Process payments and operate the POS system * Provide exemplary customer service and address any customer concerns. *\*\* Experience is not a necessity but a positive attitude and willingness to learn is! \*\** Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Work days: * Every Weekend * Holidays * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve License (required) * Food Handler Certification (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGreater Sudbury, ON
