*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and pain management, with the ability to provide high-quality osteopathic treatments. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver effective manual therapy techniques. The practitioner will also engage in research initiatives to enhance treatment methodologies and contribute to the overall improvement of patient outcomes.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients? physical conditions and medical histories.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
* Administer osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using medical terminology and electronic health record system - Jane
* Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
* Participate in ongoing research projects aimed at advancing osteopathic practices.
* Stay current with developments in the field of osteopathy, including advancements in acute care and pediatrics.
*Experience*
* A degree in Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent qualification is required.
* Previous experience in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
* Strong understanding of pain management techniques and acute care practices.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of different patients of all ages
