Buckwold Western is seeking an organized and proactive *Shipper/Receiver *to join our Winnipeg distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. As a critical part of our logistics team, you will support efficient warehouse operations and contribute to Buckwold Western's high standards for customer satisfaction.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Order Processing:* Prepare and process orders for shipment, verifying order details and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
* *Scheduling & Coordination:* Schedule and coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, maintaining timely and efficient logistics.
* *Communication:* Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to provide updates on shipment status and address any delays.
* *Inventory Management:* Track and update inventory levels, assist with cycle counts, and maintain accurate records of received and shipped goods.
* *Documentation & Compliance:* Keep thorough records of all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* *Problem Solving:* Identify and resolve issues related to delayed shipments, damaged goods, and order discrepancies, coordinating with suppliers and carriers as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with shipping software, inventory management systems, and basic office applications.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers.
* Physical ability to lift and move products, up to 50 lbs.
* Forklift experience is an asset
