All roles require a clean driver?s abstract and criminal records check. *Welder* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. 40 hours per week Wage: $25.00-$39.00 per hour - starting rate commensurate with experience, with full benefits (life, health, dental, RRSP) after probation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures Stainless Steel welding skills with 2 yrs experience · Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements · Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements) · Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded · Align components using callipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces · Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead) · Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps · Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws · Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety · Requirements · Proven experience as a welder · Experience using various welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.) · Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, callipers etc.) · Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings · Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) · Deftness and attention to detail · Proficient in English · Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required · Professional Certification (e.g., an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus · TSSA and CWB · MIG, STICK, AND TIG · Extensive TIG welding experience is an asset. · Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$39.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company car * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Willingness to travel: * 75% (preferred) Work Location: On the road- LocationBrockville, ON
