*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in meal preparation and food handling. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their career in the food industry within a dynamic restaurant environment. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation. * Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. * Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. * Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team. * A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
