*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to provide financial management and oversight of a group of companies with diverse operations (real estate holdings, industrial supply distribution, residential development, restaurants). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in various accounting software.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
* Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
* Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
* Manage accounts receivable to optimize cash flow and minimize outstanding debts.
* Implement and maintain effective accounting systems using software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Oracle Netsuite, etc.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial practices.
* Prepare for audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of account analysis and account reconciliation processes.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Oracle Netsuite, etc.
* Experience in budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Solid understanding of payroll management practices.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.

Pay: $35.98-$98.07 per hour
