*Overview* Myo-Health Rehab and Wellness Centre has exciting opportunities for an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare providers! We are a private clinic that specializes in the treatment of clients injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents. Joining this multi-disciplinary rehabilitation clinic with two locations in the GTA (Scarborough and Etobicoke) offers the right individuals the opportunity to collaborate with a team in providing exceptional care to our clients in a culture that is client-focused, diverse, inclusive and encourages personal growth. *We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team!* *This position is for Full-Time hours, M-F 9am-5pm. Interventions include: assistive equipment education and training, ADL training and cognitive rehabilitation · Assist with assessments and intervention planning · Establish positive working relationships with clients · Observe and monitor client?s performance and progress · Manage equipment, supplies, and inventory · Provide education and training to clients, family members, and caregivers · Maintain detailed and accurate client records · Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team (OT, OT, SW) · Create and maintain client schedules. · What you need to be successful: · Strong time-management skills required. · Excellent communication skills required with an ability to collaborate with other team members and a strong understanding of when and how to make interdisciplinary referrals. · *New graduates accepted.* · MVA experience preferred but not mandatory. · Access to reliable transportation required.
