*Position overview:* As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our furniture retail warehouse. You will be responsible for the handling, organization, and shipping of products, contributing to efficient inventory management and customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various equipment safely.Key Responsibilities: * *Loading and Unloading*: Safely load, unload, and move furniture and materials using manual and mechanical equipment. * *Order Management*: Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders to ensure timely delivery. * *Inventory Organization*: Maintain organized inventory and utilize computerized systems for tracking stock levels. * *Labeling and Packaging*: Create and attach labels to goods, ensuring proper packaging for shipment and storage. * *Driving Duties*: Use your Class 5 Driver License to transport goods as required, ensuring safe and compliant driving practices. * *Collaboration*: Work closely with team members to optimize warehouse operations and enhance overall efficiency. Qualifications: * Ability to lift and move heavy items safely up to 80 pounds to 100 pounds * Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationDawson Creek, BC
