We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and a passion for precision and quality. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to create high-quality components and parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.</p><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Operate lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.</li><li>Utilize power tools and hand tools for machining tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.</li><li>Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in all produced components.</li><li>Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.</li><li>Maintain machinery by performing regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing necessary repairs.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in operating lathes and other machining equipment.</li><li>Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.</li><li>Solid mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machining processes and techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices aimed at optimizing production efficiency.</li><li>Experience in fabricating parts using various materials and methods.</li><li>Competence in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.</li><li>Basic programming skills for CNC machines is a plus.</li><li>Forklift operation experience is advantageous for material handling tasks.</li></ul><p>Join us as we strive for excellence in manufacturing!
