Join our dynamic team as a *Purchasing Agent* and play a key role in driving the success of our innovative agricultural equipment manufacturing company. We specialize in designing and building cutting-edge liquid manure handling equipment, serving farmers with dependable and efficient solutions. As a Purchasing Specialist, you?ll ensure we source the highest-quality materials and components to maintain our industry-leading standards. *Key Responsibilities:* * Source and procure materials, components, and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations. * Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms. * Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and avoid production delays. * Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities. * Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to align purchasing strategies with project timelines. * Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards. * Process purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and track delivery schedules. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in procurement or purchasing (experience in the agriculture or manufacturing industry is a strong asset). * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Quickbooks is an asset) * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of agricultural equipment or manufacturing processes is a plus.
