*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are accurately priced and effectively managed from inception to completion. The Construction Estimator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver precise estimates that align with project goals. *Duties* * Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation. * Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create accurate pricing models. * Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and requirements. * Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive rates. * Conduct site visits to gather additional information for accurate estimating. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs. * Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction throughout the estimating process. * Review and analyze bid proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field. * Proficiency in construction estimating software, specifically Bluebeam * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with subcontractors and suppliers. * Excellent project management abilities, demonstrating effective organization and time management skills. * Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Strong analytical skills to assess costs accurately and make informed decisions. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
