Position #: 087455 Expected Start Date: December 02, 2024 Union: CUPE Facility: Galloway Health Centre City/Town: Oxbow Department: Home Support Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 224 hours in a 12 week rotation Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 12 $23.170 to $24.840 (3 step range) Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning. Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)Competencies- Basic - Computer skills- Organizational skills- Interpersonal skills- Communication skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Ability to work independentlyOther Information- Valid driver's license, where required- Conditional hire must complete required education/equivalent within 2 years- Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation- Food Safe certificate, where required- If no qualified applicant(s) a conditional hire may be considered- This is a Float position that supports Oxbow and Gainsborough communities.- Home base for this position is Oxbow.
