The Ontario Plowmen’s Association (OPA and the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM) is looking for an Advertising/Events Co-ordinator to join our Team! Advertising• Develop a media campaign to include print, radio, TV and Social Media advertising.• Prepare budget and advertising schedules• Provide leadership to the Local Marketing Committee• Write  press releases and feature articles• Develop and submit marketing materials Events• Co-ordinate various features of the event---including working with the Local Organizing Committee• Administer the  Plowing Competition• Assist with administration and activation of event sponsors• Co-ordinate OPA Annual Convention logistics• Co-ordinate  OPA/IPM displays at Farm Shows and other events• Assist with preparation of grants, annual reports and final event reports And must:• Be Highly organized• Experienced in large events/trade shows co-ordination• Results driven  in advertising development and budgeting• Effective in written and verbal communications • Skilled in working with Volunteers• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Location: Guelph, Ontario. Must have own transportation and be willing to work on-site at the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo for up to two weeks (at a new location throughout Ontario each year). Please submit resume and salary expectations by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION. Deadline:  Monday, December 2, 2024- LocationGuelph, ON
