The successful candidate will have the following: *Education/Certifications/Credentials/Professional Registration* * Have or are pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing, Web Design or equivalent * Standard First Aid, CPR-Level C * Evidence of a clear Police Information Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search if applicable), within the last six months * Must have a valid driver?s license with a class 07 automobile insurance coverage business use (or pleasure with occasional business use) and a minimum of $2,000,000 in liability coverage *Knowledge & Skills* * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva required * Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Twitter Advertising required * Office experience preferred? * Photography?and editing?skills?an asset * Video Editing Skills is an asset * Time management and organizational skills? * Ability to work effectively, efficiently, independently and under pressure? * Strong?writing,?grammar?and?spelling?skills?preferred *What does this role look like at the YMCA of Medicine Hat? * Reporting to the Manager of Communications and Marketing the Social Media Coordinator responsible for managing our brand?s online presence, including but not limited to, researching audience preferences, creating engaging content, measuring web traffic, and facilitating online conversations. *The responsibilities and duties of this role will include but is not limited to:* *Customer Service* * Be committed to exceptional customer service and member engagement * Have positive interactions with all members, public, and staff * Represents the YMCA and the Association in a professional manner in internal and external forums *YMCA Values* * Demonstrate and promote a personal understanding of and appreciation for the mission, vision, and values of the YMCA and its programs and services * Demonstrates appropriate behaviors in line with our Mission, Vision and Values as reflected in our YMCA competencies; takes a member focused approach to increase their understanding of programs offered across the Association. *Teamwork* * Work effectively within the Association Services team, contributing to its overall success by: * Promoting the YMCA?s annual Strong Kids Campaign * Promoting and/or atten- LocationMedicine Hat, AB
