Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Tasks: Care for pets. Administer bedside and personal care. Administer medications. Assist clients in water (i.e. pool). Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Collect specimens. Feed or assist in feeding. Launder clothing and household linens. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Plan therapeutic diets and menus. Provide companionship. Provide personal care. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Cook. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Help with scheduling and workflow. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Help dieticians or nutritionists on planning nutrition program. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Basic security clearance. Reference required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Standing for extended periods. Walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
