Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Set up machines and equipment. Replace parts as required. Make adjustments to machinery. Make emergency repairs to equipment. Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts. Supervision: Textile machinery mechanics and repairers. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Workplace information: On the road job.- LocationMississauga, ON
