As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced overnight baker to join our team. Ideally, this individual would be passionate about sourdough and the artisanal bread baking process on an industrial scale. The opening is at our Riverside location at 635 Queen Street East. _*Previous baking experience in a commercial setting is a requirement! *_ Daily Tasks * Mix dough * Follow recipes and scaling out flour and other ingredients accurately * Shape baguettes and sourdough loaves * Bake bread * Daily cleaning duties * Lead team of bakers through the daily task list * Maintain a positive and efficient work environment Requirements * An interest in the bread baking process on an industrial scale * At least 1 year of previous baking experience in a commercial setting: either restaurant or bakery * Weekend availability * Working *overnight shift *_-__ *start times anywhere from 8 - 11pm*_ * Ability to lift at least 25kg and endurance to work on your feet for the entire shift * Eligibility to work in Canada Blackbird Baking Co is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
