The Crump Group Inc., a large & rapidly growing pet food manufacturer based in Mississauga Ontario and Nashville North Carolina is seeking a dynamic, results oriented *Junior* *Financial Analyst *for Mississauga location. *Job Summary * We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this entry-level position, you will support the financial planning and analysis functions of the organization. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to help drive business decisions. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their analytical skills and gain valuable experience in the finance industry. *Responsibilities:* · Review, verify and reconcile casual labor data. · Prepare weekly and monthly tracking reports on casual labor. · Coordinate, update and maintain the fixed asset registry and relevant schedules. · Analyze and reconcile major GL accounts, including the maintenance of supporting schedules. · Update CapEx budgets and progress reports. · Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions. · Prepare and post standing and recurring journal entries. · Prepare and post month-end and quarter-end accruals. · Analyze and reconcile prepaid GL accounts. · Review and post credit card and expense reports. · Assist with preparation of cash flow forecasts. · Assist with ERP implementation. · Prepare ad hoc reports as required. · Assist with annual audits. · Participate in quarterly inventory counts. · Provide recommendations on internal control procedures, system improvements and process enhancements. *Recipe for Success:* · Accuracy and attention to detail. · Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills- We challenge the status quo. and encourage finding ways to make things easier. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Thrive in fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. · Advanced proficiency of Excel with the ability work with large data sets *A Few Extra Ingredients* · 1-2 years of work experience in a similar capacity (financial analysis) · Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related fields. · Working towards CPA designation · Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while finding efficiencies in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment · Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional partners from several departments in the organization. *Benefits:* · Competitive salary and performance-based incentives · Comprehensive company paid health benefits package · Opportunities for career growth and development · A collaborative and supportive work environment *Why join The Crump Group?* · 100% Employer Paid Benefits · Employee Assistance Program · Perkopolis Discount Program · Tuition Reimbursement Program · Career Advancement Opportunities · Employee Referral Bonus Program · Free Onsite Parking · Casual Dress Code · Social Club Committee · Anonymous Employee Engagement Surveys · Safety Shoe Reimbursement · Dog-Friendly Office The Crump Group is committed to equity in employment and diversity.
