Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.</p><p> </p><p>In this role, primary <b>responsibilities </b>include: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Provide optimal medical care, diagnosis, and treatments as per accepted veterinary practices</li><li>Provide professional expertise for guidance on procedures and techniques involving animals </li><li>Review and optimize animal monitoring and SOPs related to animal care</li><li>Be a member of our animal ethic committee and lend your expertise to evaluate all procedures performed on animals before studies begin</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div><b>Key Elements</b></div> </div><div><p> </p><p>We are looking for the following <b>minimum qualifications</b> for this role: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Good observation skills </li><li>Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)</li><li>Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable. </li><li>Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine </li><li>Valid OMVQ licence</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.</em></p><p> </p><p><b>Role Specific Information: </b></p><p> </p><ul><li>Location: Senneville / Free parking / Shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site</li><li>Annual bonus based on performance</li><li>Schedule: Mostly daytime Monday to Friday.
