We are seeking an energetic Dental Hygienist to join our modern dental practice. Applicants must promote and model our values and attitudes, which are to exceed our patient?s needs and expectations. The right candidate will be friendly, dependable, organized, capable of multi-tasking, be a fast learner, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for patient care. *Job Specifics:* Full time position, up to 40 hours per week. Some evening hours and Fridays. *The successful candidate will be able to:* * Performing dental procedures permitted by the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) scope of practice; * Taking and processing dental radiographs as prescribed by the Dentist(s); * Developing individual hygiene treatment plans based on each patient?s needs; and * Providing patients with oral hygiene instruction. *Qualifications:* * Registered as a Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario; * Purchase malpractice insurance as per CDHO guidelines; * Bilingualism is an asset but not required; * Working knowledge of IPAC reprocessing and sterilization standards; * General computer working knowledge; experience with Dentrix is an asset; * Self-initiation is an asset; * Valid CPR Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday * No weekends Licence/Certification: * Dental Hygienist License (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-16- LocationVal Caron, ON
