If you value compassion as much as expertise and are looking to grow your career in a rewarding and supportive environment, we want to hear from you. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform embalming, dressing, and decedent preparation, adhering to professional and legal standards. * Ensure proper identification of decedents and maintain accurate documentation, including embalming reports and logs. * Maintain the preparation room, including inventory management, sanitation, and equipment organization. * Assist with the transfer of decedents from the place of death, crematorium, or other locations. * Provide guidance and support to families, respecting their cultural and personal preferences. * Support funeral services, ensuring smooth and respectful operations, as needed. * Maintain compliance with all ethical, legal, and safety requirements. *Qualifications:* * Ontario Funeral Director's Class 1 licence * Two years of embalming experience * Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a compassionate and professional manner. * Knowledge of funeral home procedures, including health and safety regulations. * Valid G driver?s license with a clean driving record. *What We Offer:* * A competitive compensation package. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * A supportive work environment with a focus on employee wellness. * The chance to serve a diverse community with meaningful and personalized services. *Why Join Us?* At Ajax Crematorium & Visitation Centre, we do things differently.
