Ebco Metal Finishing LP has over 68 years of experience in metal finishing, offers a wide range of services, from large outdoor structures to fine decorative coatings and high-tech close-tolerance finishes. Our two large facilities in Western Canada accommodate high volume production and handle large parts. We are seeking an experienced electroplater to join our production team in Richmond plant. *Responsibilities:* Responsibilities include but not limited to loading and uploading parts, performing electroplating processes, handling chemicals, keeping records, packing finished parts and other tasks assigned by foreman. *Qualification:* * At least one year of electroplating experience * Knowledge of electroplating zinc, copper, nickel, chrome, brass, etc. * Basic understanding of hazardous chemicals and safety rules * Fluent English and verbal communication skills are essential * Ability to climb stairs and ladders * Work comfortably in a team environment * Ability to lift heavy loads, up to 50lb * Forklift certificate is an asset * Owning a reliable transportation vehicle Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Union position, work in plating plant Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $23.64-$27.08 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Application question(s): * Due to the limited access to public transit system, you need a car or other transportation to get to the plant.
