*Job Summary* We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team at the Woodbridge Sports Dome. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, enforce rules, and respond to incidents as they arise. We are a sports facility that hosts sporting events (soccer, volleyball, football leagues tournaments and practices). *Mainly, the ideal candidate MUST be available Saturdays and Sundays between 9am-7pm. * *The schedule will likely be 2 weekend shifts on a weekly basis and the occasional special event. * *Duties* * Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. * Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots. * Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe activities and identify potential security threats. * Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies. * Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. * Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences. * Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary. * Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage. *Experience* * Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is a plus. * Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and understanding CCTV systems is beneficial. * Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts. * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
