We are looking for a caring and experienced Dog Walker who is passionate about providing fear-free care for our clients' furry family members. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and a deep understanding of how to approach and communicate with them in a way that minimizes anxiety and stress. *Experience with reactivity is a bonus!* *Key Responsibilities:* * Provide daily dog walking services to clients' dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. * Maintain a positive, fear-free environment during walks, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior, while building trust and confidence * Follow client instructions regarding feeding, medication, and other special needs. * Keep accurate records of all walks and report any concerns or issues to management. * Respond to client and/or management inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of appropriate equipment and techniques. * Clean up after dogs and dispose of waste properly. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. *Requirements:* * Extensive experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. * A deep understanding of fear-free handling techniques and a commitment to providing a positive and nurturing environment for dogs. * Experience in working with canine reactivity and anxiety is a huge bonus. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * High level of reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage time effectively. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to work in all weather conditions. * Physical fitness and stamina to handle dogs of various sizes and activity levels. * Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (including Christmas/New Year?s). * Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. *Why Join Us?* At Urbn Pup, we are dedicated to providing personalized and passionate care for every pet we serve.
