This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career with a company that offers competitive wages and benefits, opportunities for training and advancement and an excellent company culture with great work-life balance. *Job Overview* A Sheet Metal Workers main responsibility is to fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal components in our shop and in customer?s homes. They will work closely with and take direction from our Lead Sheet Metal Technician as well as our install department to ensure system installations run smoothly and efficiently. *Duties and Responsibilities* * Fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal components * Conduct precise measurements and cut sheet metal to fit specifications * Install ductwork, vents and other HVAC components * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completions * Work in confined spaces including attics and crawl spaces * Interpret blueprints and technical drawings *Job Requirements* * Minimum 1 year Sheet Metal experience (Journeyperson Certification Preferred) * General construction experience an asset * Valid driver's license and clean driving record and ability to be bonded * Able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, kneel, squat and lift as well as being comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces * Able to learn new technology / ipads / service programs etc * Great communication and customer service skills * Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills * Neat and clean appearance * Team player with a positive attitude *Pay & Other Benefits* * Competitive wages * Signing bonus (some conditions apply) * Tool allowance * Extended health benefits including life insurance and dental and a Health Spending Account * RRSP Matching program * Tuition reimbursement * Company vehicle * Flexible schedule * Company events and staff recognition * Potential for 4 x 10-hour shift schedule with 3 days off in the future If you?re ready to take your sheet metal skills to the next level and join a dynamic and growing team with a company focused on culture, work life balance and teamwork, we want to hear from you!
