<strong> Who you are</strong><br><br> ?You have basic understanding of building structure and function of an industrial and commercial building, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.<br>?You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position<br>?You have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and coordinating with external service providers and internal stakeholders<br>?You can read and interpret 'As-Built' blueprints<br>?You have proven skills in developing people, providing support, coaching, training, and career direction to others<br>?You have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in the local language in the unit as well as basic English<br>?You have experience in a facilities management organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector<br>?You have an academic degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management (or equivalent) (an asset)<br><br><strong> Your responsibilities</strong><br><br> ?Responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders<br>?Budget management: Thorough knowledge of how to plan, organize and manage costs and expenditures for a business or organization<br>?Develop your team?s competence and performance, ensuring a succession plan in the unit<br>?Develop strong working relationship between suppliers and internal stakeholders<br>?Responsible for all activities related to long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting within the FM scope within the unit<br>?Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level in alignment with internal governance structure for supplier contracts to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment and quality <br>?Manage relationships with Business owners within the unit to ensure business needs are met by collecting requirements, setting annual goals and periodic follow ups<br><br><strong> Together as a team</strong><br><br> Without us our many co-workers and customers wouldn?t have an IKEA to go to.
