*Overview* Well established, extremely friendly Vancouver office looking for a very friendly, gentle and caring hygienist. Free parking, great benefits, private Canadian dentist owned, non-corporate, low pressure, low stress, great patients We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately using Dentrix software. * Assist the dentist during examinations when necessary. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring a positive experience at the dental office. *Requirements* * Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred. * Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients effectively. * Previous experience in dental assisting is an advantage but not required.
