Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment Air conditioned Work setting Retail business Shopping centre or mall Tasks Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.) Assign sales workers to duties Hire and train or arrange for training of staff Teach interest or professional development courses Authorize payments by cheque Order merchandise Authorize return of merchandise Establish work schedules Sell merchandise Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers Supervision 1 to 2 people Area of specialization Telephone installation and repair Sales experience Demonstration stand (mall/store) Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Screening questions Are you available for the advertised start date?
