Our work environment includes: * Growth opportunities * On-the-job training * Safe work environment Our company is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, a strong work ethic and a great attitude, and will be capable of working independently and in a team environment. The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for working on many different types of projects to research, design, construct and test electrical systems, including data and control systems, power generation and transmission systems, low-voltage systems, sound systems and lighting. Responsibilities: * Solve electrical problems and problems that may come up during installations. * Journeyman/Journeywoman electricians teach you on the job and show you how to work safely with electricity. * Create and interpret plans and drawings for electrical projects. * Apply for permits for construction projects. * Take readings for tests and send them to field engineers. * Troubleshoot problems with relays and circuits. * Be able to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. * Learn how to use electrician's tools. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: * Commuter benefits * Company events * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: * Driver's License (required) Work Location: In person- LocationVancouver, BC
