Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas. Clean and disinfect elevators. Handle and report lost and found items. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Clean changing rooms and showers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
