At the University of Manitoba, what inspires you can change everything. *The opportunity:* Under the direction and supervision of the Graduate Program Director, the dental assistant is responsible for providing dental assisting services in the Dr. Sam Borden Periodontology Specialty Clinic. The incumbent will be responsible for providing chairside assistance to Residents at all levels of training, which includes assisting with various surgical procedures such as tooth extractions, root amputations, full quadrant open flap surgery, implant surgery, periodontal splinting, and graft surgeries. *The qualifications and experience we?re looking for:* * Completion of a recognized Dental Assisting Course with current unrestricted active dental assistant licensure with the Manitoba Dental Association and one year of related experience in a dental office is required. *Why the University of Manitoba?* Along with being one of Manitoba?s top employers, we are proud to provide a collaborative and enriching work environment.
