Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Maintain shift log of production and other data. Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced. Operate finishing machines to grind, drill, sand, bevel, decorate, wash or polish glass or glass products. Visually inspect products for quality. Weigh, measure and check production samples to assess conformance to specifications. Operate multi-function process control machinery to mix and melt raw materials. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?.
