If you said *yes* to these questions, we may have an opportunity for you right here in the Fraser Valley. *Responsibilities:* * Maintain and repair company equipment as directed * Adhere to established procedures and work instructions as well as assembly and installation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications * Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment and report discrepancies or insufficiencies * Communicate progress of plant equipment repairs and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems * Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department as directed *Qualifications:* * 5+ years equivalent experience in maintenance and/or operations of a manufacturing facility or equivalent combination of education and experience * 3rd year or Red Seal Millwright trade certification an asset * Experienced with pneumatic systems, hydraulics, gas powered machinery, diesel powered machinery, pumps, compressors, and electrical systems. * Extensive experience with hand and power tools and the operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, scissor lifts, boom lifts required. *Skills:* * Competent in the operations of hydraulic assembly tools and knowledge of the appropriate use of hose kits, hose specifications, hydraulic/fluid circuits, hydraulic filters, gauges, quick couplers, etc. * Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and make decisions * Displays exceptional people skills and a can-do attitude * Utilizes effective oral communication and numeracy, problem solving, job task planning and organizational skills * Able to lift 50 lbs, possesses manual dexterity and is able to work at heights * Possesses the ability to work on own and as part of a team * Able to work in wet, humid, outdoor, high noise and dusty environments * Proficient in basic office computer software At TYCROP, we value our people ? and it shows.
