*Job Overview* Newfoundland Eggs Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage deliveries effectively. The Truck Driver will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service. *Key Responsibilities* * Operate commercial trucks to transport products to various locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance. * Pick orders, load, and unload products onto the trailer, ensuring proper handling and securement of the load. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. * Communicate effectively with shippers, receivers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. * Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs when necessary. * Operate heavy equipment during loading and unloading processes as required. *Experience & Qualifications* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License . * Familiarity with delivery handling procedures. * Background in automotive repair is a plus, as it enhances the ability to perform minor repairs on the road. * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. * A criminal record check is required for this position. * Availability to work Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. *Note*: We appreciate your interest in Newfoundland Eggs Inc.
