<div><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Details of the position</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Job title:</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Educator in a school setting (Replacement - Maternity Leave)</p><p><span><span><span><span><span>School / Centre / Department :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Cookshire Elementary School</p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Location :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> Cookshire, Québec </p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Workload :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p>Total: 30.75 hours per week</p><p>Breakdown: </p><p>18.75 hours in daycare </p><p>12 hours support in K5 </p><p>Estimated end date: End of June 2025</p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Salary :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> $24.56 - $28.33 per hour</p><p><span><span><span><span><span>Supervisor :</span></span></span></span></span></p><p> School principal</p><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Nature of the work </span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><p><span><span>Organizing, preparing and conducting a series of activities, in keeping with the educational project, fostering the overall development of students in preschool and elementary school in his or her care, while ensuring their health and safety.</span></span></p><p><span>This employee can be called upon to provide support in the classroom. </span></p><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Description of tasks</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span>Plans, conducts and participates in activities in keeping with the education program. </span></span></li><li><span><span>Assists students in dressing and undressing.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Records student attendance. </span></span></li><li><span><span>Assists students in preparing and eating their meals and snacks, while ensuring that the rules promoting hygiene and well-being are observed.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ensures the supervision and safety of students in compliance with the rules of conduct, safety measures and recommendations of parents; administers first aid and, if necessary, administers medications according to medical requirements and the school?s policy and the parents? instructions.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Informs parents and all those concerned about a student?s behaviour.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Maintains order and cleanliness of the premises and upkeep of material and equipment.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Takes part in meetings organized by the day care service technician as regards the organization and operation of the day care service</span></span></li><li>May assist school personnel with certain administrative tasks.</li><li>She may be called upon to introduce new school-based educators to the job.</li><li><span><span>Performs any other related duty.</span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span><b><span><span><span>Desired profile</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span>Schooling</span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span>Meet one of the following 2 profiles:</span></span></p><ol><li><span><span><span><span>Hold a Secondary School Diploma and an Attestation of Vocational Studies in Daycare Services or</span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span>Hold a diploma and attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and one (1) year of pertinent experience</span></span></li></ol><p><span><span><span><span>Other requirements</span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span>Hold a certificate dated no more than three (3) years attesting to the successful completion of: </span></span></p><ul><li><span><span>a standard first aid course of a minimum eight (8)-hour duration;</span></span></li><li><span><span>a refresher course of a minimum six(6)-hour duration updating t- LocationCookshire-Eaton, QC
