We currently have an opportunity available as a PART TIME Breakfast Bar attendant at the Holiday Inn Express & Suite Langley on 8750 204th Street, Langley , BC Key responsibilities of the role include: * Greet all guests and replenish breakfast bar buffet items in a prompt and professional manner. * Prepare breakfast bar food items according to brand standards (some require light cooking/baking) for service to hotel guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards. * Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner. Clean and/or wipe down tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors. * Perform side-work, and other opening or closing duties as required. Ensure that all food stations and pantry areas are clean and maintained throughout shift. * Maintain par stock level for all breakfast bar food and supplies and prepare ordering list for Management.. * Respond to additional guest requests in a positive, professional and timely manner * Organize station for food service and serve food and beverage * Understand menu of the breakfast details and answer questions as required regarding the food and beverage * Follow proper cleaning standards * Ensure equipment is returned to appropriate storage, laundry and kitchen locations * Maintain tidy, clean, safe workspace and equipment * Perform End-Of-Shift Duties, Including Cleaning and Re-Stocking and Dish washing. * You may also assist with other duties as assigned. This position has overall responsibility for preparing, replenishing and/or serving/presenting food in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency * *\* This position requires that the candidates to have consistent availability for breakfast shifts: 5:30am- 12:00pm, weekdays, weekends and Holidays.* In return we'll give you a market appropriate hourly wage, hotel discounts worldwide are available as well as access to a wide variety of discount programs and the chance to work with a great team of people.
